Joce's winter concert

On Tuesday night we attended Joce's first band concert! She did so well and proclaimed when it was over..."And I didnt even squeak once Mom!" (Clarinet is a rough instrument....) Love you Joce!!

I will post more pics later but Nate started reading last night and now, he cant get enough of it!! First thing this morning, he was on the couch with his pile of books! I had forgotten how fun (and painful) this time can be!! Go Nate!!

I think I am actually a little envious that my sons can hoolahoop longer than I can! Should a 4 year old be able to do this?!?!

Delayed Opening!!

Nate is 6!!!

Better late than never??!! Nate turned 6 on the 24th of January and I couldnt love him any more than I do!! He is becoming a little 'man' in some ways. His conversations are getting more grown-up and he is so caring for his little brother. He really looks out for him! Nate is loving Kindergarten and starting to read and write. I love it!! Cant they stay this age forever?? :)

Snow Day!!

We had our first snow/ice/rain day last week! The kids lasted for a while outside!! What fun!

I just got home from the ladies' retreat for FAC and I dont even think I can put into words how absolutely wonderful it was!! I was priviledged enough to lead worship for the entire weekend and had the best chick band ever!! God is good!
